Can I just take a moment to say how excited I am about finally getting pets for Sims 3? That was one of the biggest thing I missed from the Sims 2, so... YAY. I have no idea if what generation of Pesces we'll be on by that point (October??), but someone is getting a puppy, I don't care who.

Hahaha!! I feel ya! I kind of want weather more than I want pets, but all the stuff they showed in that trailer totally made me squeal a little bit. I'm not ashamed to admit it. ;D
October is so long. :( Hopefully Generations is a good enough Expansion to tide us over. *fingers crossed!*
They haven't officially announced generations and yet there is a trailer for the EP after?
Kaleeko squee - isn't it cute? :)
I loved my Sims 2 pets and almost every family had some. But I won't get my hopes up, these could be some kind of fake up.
Fake up?! Oh dear me, PiB hasn't seen the leaked trailers yet, has she? ^^

I'm rather looking forward to Generations purely from a storytelling standpoint. Should be fun!
I agree, I want weather too! But pets are definitely a step in the right direction after the disappointment of LN. (Disappointment to me, anyways- I know plenty of people liked it. I liked the vampires and the bands, but the rest was kind of meh.)
They confirmed Generations a few days ago I do believe. The 11th, I think.
And I doubt it is a fake, as it would be incredibly difficult to fake that kind of trailer. I'll admit, it's REALLY early to be having a trailer for it, so it's probably an early test version or something.
Same here, Amelia. I'm not sure Generations is going to add a lot of gameplay persay, but it'll probably add a lot more interactions and some stuff to do--kind of like the Freetime Expansion was for Sims 2, I guess.
I agree that Late Night was a disappointment--the instruments and the bars I liked, but celebrities and stuff... meh. Not really my cup of tea.
You were right, I hadn't seen the trailers. :)
Good grief, dogs, cats and more pets like horses? I hate to think how many people kept screaming for horses in Sims 2.
So hard to say from a trailer what will be good or bad about a new EP for me. Late night added some good stuff but I'll never use Bridgeport for anything major and celebs are fun once but seriously? :)
